Shannon has dedicated more than twenty years to Pan Am Clinic. She enjoys being part of a multidisciplinary clinic, where doctors, nurses and physiotherapists work together to help patients recover and thrive. As a kid who loved animals, she was originally aspiring to become a zoologist. However, her career path changed when a basketball-related knee injury led her to rehabilitation, redirecting her academic focus.

Shannon believes in the idea that we never stop learning. She appreciates opportunities to participate in her own professional development as well as in supporting the learning of others. She actively contributes to teaching and assisting in various courses through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the University of Manitoba.

Beyond work, Shannon loves riding her bike, workouts at the Y, basketball, board games and listening to physiotherapy podcasts. She also coaches’ basketball alongside her partner and is a diehard fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
