Sport Medicine

The role of the Sports Medicine physician is to evaluate the patient’s injury or condition and develop a personalized plan of care.  The treatment program must take into account how the problem is affecting the individual’s quality of life and determine how best to return the person to their optimal physical status.  The patient’s multifaceted needs are met by a multidisciplinary team approach to reduce pain, to enhance mobility and to promote healing.
