Sheila McRae has been an employee in the Pan Am Clinic Foundation Research Program since 2006.
Sheila McRae is a Senior Research Associate with the Pan Am Clinic Foundation. She joined Pan Am in 2006 with a Bachelor Degree in Medical Rehabilitation - Physiotherapy (2000). Sheila obtained her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Medicine in 2007 and her PhD in Applied Health Sciences in 2014. Her dissertation was on structural and functional changes in muscle following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Sheila’s primary role is overseeing the development and implementation of orthopaedic and sports medicine research projects, facilitating the research of surgeons, students, residents, and fellows. She provides expertise in study design, statistical analysis, technical writing and is also extensively involved in review processes and committees. Sheila has adjunct faculty appointments at the University of Manitoba in the Departments of Surgery and Rehabilitation Sciences.
